What do I need to feel good?

What do I need to feel good?

Jan 12, 2022

There are many areas in your life that help you stay in balance and to feel good every day. Life is a lot of different things and without taking care of every single part you won't be able to be your true self.

In this post, you'll learn the seven basic ones you need to start with! If you want to improve your life start here!

Good Relationships to feel good

Hang out with people that give energy and not with people that only drain you. To have fun and feel good psychologically has a great impact on how we feel physically as well.

Try to get rid of friendships that aren't good for you and increase time with people that make you feel good. It can be hard to cut some people out but it can be necessary for your well-being.

At the very least minimize the time you spend with people that you notice you feel bad around.

A positive attitude to feel good

To focus on what's good in life instead of the boring stuff is very important. You become what you think about. If you only focus on problems and bad stuff that is what you'll see.

Try to be positive when possible, the more the better and if you work on it you can make it into a habit. Doesn't it feel much better to be happy instead of worried and angry/sad?

This also strengthens your body - body and mind are deeply connected.

Move to feel good

Don't forget to move! We are not created to sit still. Move every day! At least 30 minutes per day you should be physically active. Preferably more.

You should be a little bit short of breath during these 30 minutes. I'm not an exercise freak but I know that it's important for my health. Every little bit counts.

The exercise that doesn't happen is worthless so keep the goals to something you will do and not skip! And don't forget the impact of taking the stairs instead of the elevator and maybe getting off the bus earlier.

Sleep and recovery to feel good

When we sleep the body is up to a lot of stuff. It repairs from the day (which requires a lot of nutrition) and makes sure you have energy for the next day.

We need to sleep and rest enough. Every day. If we don't, our bodies will begin to break down and illnesses can occur. So don't forget to rest and make sure you get a good night's sleep.

If you are having trouble sleeping I recommend our optimal set, at least our drink for the evening that is full of minerals.

Water to feel good

We all know we need to have water. Everything in your body is dependent on it and we are partly made of water. How much you need each day varies depending on weight and how much you move, but approximately 1,5 to 2 liters a day is enough if you aren't sweating a lot, then you might need more.

Water can also be overdosed so use common sense!

Water should be without carbonic acid because too much of that isn't very good for us. We get acidic and when we are it's harder to maintain a healthy weight and our immune system is hurt.

Water is good for your heart, skin, and also your digestion. It can decrease the risk of some types of cancer and it is needed to clean out toxins and other waste from the body.

If you haven't had enough water you might be tired and get headaches.

Every cell in your body (heart cells, brain cells, liver cells, skin cells and so on) need water to function. So if you are not having enough, start to drink some more and see if it makes you feel better.

Breathe to feel good

We die pretty fast if we stop breathing. All our cells need oxygen - just like water.

Many people breathe very shallowly. It's important to take deep breaths using your stomach. Try to breathe deeply a couple of times a day.

Make it a habit and your body will thank you!

Tips for breathing

  • Breathe with your nose, it fills the lungs better than breathing with your mouth.
  • Move your arms slowly like you are taking a swim while sitting on a chair. It will soften your chest and contribute to better breathing.
  • Sit relaxed on your entire behind and back of thighs. Lean behind with support or to the front supporting yourself on the elbows. This helps the muscles in your stomach to relax and you can easily fill your lungs.
  • It's easier to empty your lungs if you "are blowing out a candle" with your lips.

The tips originate from a Swedish heart/lung organization.

Nutrition to feel good

Nutrition, Oxygen and water. Those three things are what all your cells need to create energy and "do their job". There are a lot of nutrients that the body needs and if you give yourself enough you will get more energy, you will sleep better and it will be easier to exercise and stay positive.

Without energy, we can't do anything at all and we can't change our lives and feel better.

So my #1 recommendation for you is to make sure you get proper nutrition, you need supplements!

Are you having enough water, deep-breathing every day, and using extra supplements I can almost guarantee you'll start to feel better AND you will also get enough energy to make the other changes I've mentioned.

Who is able to have a positive attitude without energy?

What to do now to feel good?

Have more water if you aren't having enough and take some time each day to breathe deeply. And decide to start using a supplement. I use and recommend supplements from Fitline. Check them out here!

Then, when your energy is higher, try to do the rest of the pieces in this article but if you have a lot of changes to do, don't do everything at the same time. Just think about how you live your life and do more of what makes you feel good. "It's good to feel good" as one of my mentors says.

Take small steps and don't try to change everything at once. If you do it will be hard. Life is supposed to be fun and we are supposed to feel as good as possible.
